The story revolves around Lakshmi and her affair with a married man. It's been directed by Lawrence Raghavendra. When the small town of Manasunte was flooded during the monsoon, it changed everything for its residents, who had to set out in search of a new life in Delhi with their infant son and wife at their side. The world they knew was destroyed and they had to start all over again with nothing but each other as support system. Twenty years later, Meera returns to her hometown after marriage and finds that city life has not changed much. Her husband Avishek, a successful businessman is still unable to live in the culture of his family and demands changes. On the other hand, she finds herself in a problematic situation with an old friend and neighbour, who's married to her childhood friend Arjun. Meera: Sanskriti Deshpanna A journalist and wife of a successful businessman Arjun (Sreenath Bhasi) from Delhi gets posted to Manasunte where she reunites with his childhood friend Laxmi (Pragya Jaiswal). While trying to go back to her roots, she finds that family relationships have changed a lot. Her first encounter with Laxmi's husband Lakshmi (Rekha) makes her realize that it's all about the change in attitude and not the face. In the meantime, Arjun gets an offer from a leading company in Delhi and decides to join them leaving Meera behind. The situation creates complications in their marriage as he is unwilling to live with Meera and their son until she changes. In a touching moment of acceptance, Arjun tells his daughter Maya that people change but he doesn't feel any need to change even though he has been away from them for years. Meera and Laxmi's relationship revives with their closeness. Meera's friend Bhanu (Shravan Reddy) comes to stay in her house as he wants to pursue his studies in Delhi. The attraction between the two friends gives rise to feelings for each other. They are not able to express them openly due to some incidents that unfold in the course of time. Bhanu who is also a childhood friend of Laxmi had always been helping her around while Aravind (Anil Murali) was away at various places on some assignments. She became close with Bhanu but was unable to accept anything more due to her loyalty towards Aravind. She started to feel something for Bhanu but never admitted it. One day, she finds Aravind with Bhanu and is shocked. She tells him not to meet Bhanu again as she is in love with him. He gives her a reply that he cannot be with her as he is married and they have a child. When Laxmi's sister Sita (Bhavana) comes to stay with them, she gradually realizes that they are not Aravind's wife and there is something more between them.
